Serenitea, a tea shop owned by Thaedra Brondum, is a space where people can come in, relax and de-stress. The covid pandemic highlighted a need for people to have a space where they can take care of their mental health and wellbeing away from office and home. Thaedra, while thinking of ways to better support family, friends, and colleagues' wellbeing and navigating burnout from her job, decided to combine her love of tea with her love of the Science-Fiction and Fantasy genres to create Serenitea, a relaxing space to explore teas and new worlds.

A varied selection of science-fiction and fantasy genre books are available for customers to read while in the shop, allowing them to explore other worlds and forget their worries while they drink and relax.
